Wedding photos are the physical memory of the most special moments of the big day. Therefore, the choice of photographer is extremely important and must be done carefully by the bride and groom.
Check out four key questions below that should be asked to your photographer of choice before deciding who will be the definitive party vendor in Ireland:
WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?
Every photographer and videographer has their own unique style, which is reflected in their work and how they approach capturing the essence of a wedding day. At our studio, we firmly believe in the magic of spontaneous moments. Our aim is to craft a visual narrative that mirrors the uniqueness of your love, brimming with candid, authentic emotions. Specializing in capturing genuine, unposed moments, we prefer to blend seamlessly into the background rather than directing scenes. However, when necessary, we gently guide our clients to present their best selves in front of the camera. Our philosophy revolves around striking the perfect balance between candid and posed wedding photographs, ensuring a comprehensive portrayal of your special day.
WHAT IS THE UPPER LIMIT OF PHOTOGRAPHS?
Few brides know, but some professionals limit the number of photos taken at the ceremony and party. Before hiring a photographer, check this issue so you don't end up with a limited album or have to pay extra for each additional click.
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE?
Before you even embark on your honeymoon, all you'll want to do is look at the wedding photos. This point makes the difference and goes beyond the photographing service. Find out when you will have the first selection of edited photos, and what will be the schedule of all contracted works, as proof of the virtual and physical album, and the finished album, in addition to extra services, such as mini albums for parents and godparents. In our case the final wedding gallery is ready around 8-10weeks, and 12-14 weeks for videos, but to make sure are clients are looked after we send a "Sneak Peek" of the wedding within 72 hours. All of your images are delivered online in a private gallery and you'll be downloading the full resolution images! Each image is individually post-produced. While the videos are delivered on cloud and also in a USB Drive delivered to your home.
WHO WILL PHOTOGRAPH THE WEDDING?
Some companies have several teams, in order to be able to attend more than one wedding per day. Others have a main photographer, who is accompanied by an assistant or second freelance photographer. In these two ways of working, it is essential that the bride and groom ask to see the portfolio of the people who will be with them at the wedding and to have a conversation with the photographer in charge, to avoid surprises. That way it's easier to predict the style your photos will have.
