A Wedding Day in Lacken Millhouse and Gardens, Cavan
This Irish wedding couldn't get off to a more traditional start. It has a great kick to it with a little Jameson Whiskey and family and friends gathered together in County Cavan. The groom gifted each groomsman with an amazing and tasty of one of the finest whiskey.
The kids were the stars of that moment, full of energy they were eager to get ready and spread cuteness far and wide. You will see this in the photographs. Before the ceremony, a last chat with the mother and friends in front of the house was a great opportunity for more candid shots for the wedding photographer.
And, it's time to meet the bride. She was stunning, a beautiful glow all over her face, as a photographer I couldn't ask for more. As she received a big kiss from her little boy, the ceremony stared and it took place at St Michael's church, Potahee, a single aisle chapel in a cruciform shape that seats about 350 people. An amazing church with lots of sunlight was a perfect place to seal this love story.
The priest put everyone at ease and the ceremony was beautiful, all the photos show how relaxed the couple was. The Couple's Portraits and the Bride's Party were superb at Lacken Millhouse and Gardens in Cavan. The couple arrived at the reception in style, a refurbished Kombi was the vehicle of choice at the Crover House > Hotel in Cavan a traditional bagpipe player wearing full highland dress awaited the bride and groom.
We ended the day with a lovely photo session with the whole family. Mother, father and son had their special moment before dinner where the three of them were able to have a private celebration of love and family in this special Irish wedding.
